Nubs Nob

From the top of the ski hill, you'll get sweeping views toward Little Traverse Bay, Harbor Springs, and the surrounding countryside. On a clear day, it's one of the better viewpoints in the area.

Summer access can vary because it's private property used for maintenance and events, so it's a good idea to check with the resort before heading out.

You can make it as short as about 1–2 miles round trip by hiking up and back, or explore additional xc skiing trails, which could be as much as 6-7 miles in a loop.

Wear shoes with good traction since grassy ski slopes can be slippery when wet.

Panoramic overlooks of Little Traverse Bay and the Inland Waterway.

Over 4.5 miles of trails on a former golf course, so the walking is mostly on wide paths with rolling hills rather than rugged terrain.

Start from the main parking area and head uphill on the old cart paths.

The highest points are reached within about 15–25 minutes and offer the broadest views over the bay.

Sunrise and sunset are especially beautiful when the light hits the water.
